First-Timer
You have never been on a wakesurf board before, but are ready to try your first lesson and gently ease into the sport.
Beginner to Intermediate
You are able to ride the wave and occasionally have the need to use the rope. You have an understanding of wakesurfing, but could use improvements on basic turns, tricks and/or staying in the wave
Advanced to Pro
You are able to do airs and tricks, whether they are basic and/or advanced. You have an understanding of airs, 360’s, 180’s, alley oops, etc., but you find yourself needing help refining these skills.

Joey’s background is in ocean surfing where he began at the age of 5 and started competing in that industry at the age of 12. His ocean surfing style carried over into wakesurfing.
Joey has the most powerful tricks and dynamic style in wakesurfing. He is proving that a true surf style can be brought into the wakesurf world.
Joey is the 2023 WWA Nautique Masters Pro Wakesurf Champion, 2023 and 2022 Texas Wakesurf Champion and the 2022 Outlaw World Champion

Joe, Joey’s dad and surf coach, has been surfing since he was a little grom. He brings over 35 years of ocean surfing experience.
Joe focuses on the foundation and principles of surfing to help students understand what a true surf style encompasses when wakesurfing.
Being a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a 2015 World Champion and Professor of this sport, Joe brings a unique approach to training both on land and in the water.
